Sherfield on Loddon is a picturesque village on the north east of Basingstoke and south of Reading. It is approximately 6 miles of Basingstoke and 12 miles from Reading. Sherfield on Loddon is a civil parish in the Basingstoke & Deane Borough district of Hampshire. At the 2011 census it had a population of 1,505. This increased to 3,107 after the 2011 Census, mainly due to the new Sherfield Park development. In 2016, Sherfield Park was separated to form a parish of its own.

There are regular bus routes services and Basingstoke Mainline Train line is approximately 6 miles away which allows access to London Waterloo in approximately 45 minutes.
