Beggarwood is a modern estate on the western fridges of Basingstoke Town. Built in the early 2000’s it provides a number of great family homes along with a range of smaller dwellings ideal for first time buyers. There are various play parks dotted around the residential areas of Beggarwood. The large Beggarwood Park services both Hatch Warren & Beggarwood and has recently been given the go-ahead to become a local nature reserve. Basingstoke Town Centre is approximately 4 miles away and provides a shopping centre and cinema. Slightly further afield is the Leisure Park where families can enjoy swimming, ice skating, bowling, fast food and another cinema. Further afield the villages of North Waltham and Dummer can be accessed, for the keen cricketer Dummer cricket centre is home to all you could ever need.
Beggarwood is situated on the West of Basingstoke and provides access to the M3 which provides a direct link to London and the South Coast. There are regular bus routes servicing Beggarwood and the mainline train line is approximately 4.5 miles away which allows access to London Waterloo in approximately 45 minutes.
