May has been a surprising month for us, because with all the political uncertainty sales have again been up on last year. We have arranged sales for over 4.5 million pounds of property, the only downside has been the time taking properties to exchange and then complete. This is often caused by slow out of area conveyancers who offer favourable rates but poor service. To maximize your move going through in a more stress free manor, we at Barons would recommend using a local solicitor as there are some very good one’s in Basingstoke.
We have increased our staff levels recently on the sales progression side, to ensure our levels of customer service is maintained.
Other events in May included the Oakley six a side tournament we were pleased to sponsor was a great success with over 150 teams entered, and many thousands to watch so well done Oakley Football Club.
Further sporting events if you can call it that, is our resident Bradley Wiggins( Kevin) is cycling around Basingstoke training for the big 500 mile charity bike ride in July, so if you see an old man in lycra laugh, sorry we mean wave!..
